Our team comprises passionate individuals with a shared dedication to holistic healing. Together, we strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone can find peace and balance.
Lance & Emily Thompson
From rhythm and breath to soil and soul, Healings & Nu Beginnings was born from love, spirit, and a shared call to heal.
What started as a passion for helping others evolved into a soulful movement grounded in culture, creativity, and connection. Emily Renee and Lance Thompson, partners in life and purpose, founded Healings & Nu Beginnings to create safe, affirming spaces for people to come home to themselves.
For Emily, healing began with the breath. A certified yoga and meditation teacher, expressive arts facilitator, gardener, and sound healer, her path has always been one of softness, depth, and spiritual grounding. For Lance, healing came through rhythm and laughter. As a national comedian, African drummer, and spoken-word artist, he brings joy, storytelling, and cultural reverence to everything he touches.
Together, they realized healing doesn’t have to happen in silence; it can be danced, drummed, laughed, and planted.
From yoga mats to garden beds, drumming circles to comedy stages, Healings & Nu Beginnings is a sanctuary for all people seeking to reconnect with their roots, their joy, their voice, and their wholeness.
